Today I was informed that I am the winner of The Kraken Rum's haiku contest on facebook, and am to receive all of the honors and accolades that go along with coming out on top of such a prestigious competition. Apparently out of all the alcoholics on facebook, I can write the best haiku, at least as far as the people that make my rum are concerned.
Even small victories bring great joy. Plus I get a t shirt. woot.
