Well, this is my first Munny! I did the usual sculpt over using white Sculpy III, just on the head. I'm really pleased with him and I'm already working on the second.

*UPDATE* 4/11/09

This little guy won "Best Mini" at the Shoparooni Munny Show!
Awww punkin love!

Since I get so many requests for this little guy, I am now crafting reproductions of him. Visit my Munny page on facebook if you're interested!

This is really cool. I created characters like this about 8 years ago or so. Haven't really touched them since but this is pretty close to my original design.

Can I ask, may sound a bit silly, how do you use sculpey on munnys? I thought sculpey had to go in the oven >.<

It does. But the temperature Sculpy bakes at is lower than the melting point of vinyl. So, you sculpt on the figure, put in on a tray, and pop it in the oven. I usually bake it at an slightly lower temp than recommended, around 250. The vinyl does get a little soft in the oven, so you have to let it cool completely before you handle it. It remains completely intact.

Very cool, just started Munnys myself...any idea of the best way to sell them?

I get a lot of requests to purchase the work I have up here. I also do okay with Etsy. Mostly I make the best sales at art shows or artisan events. If you are designing a Munny in the style of a popular character then Ebay is your best bet, but in my experience custom work doesn't go over that well there.
