Victorian Lolita mini top hat

A cute Mini Top Hat in chocolate brown and black. I crafted the hat out of starched felt. I wanted to hand make the body of the hat itself rather than customizing a pre-made one so I could create that unique arch shape, as well as make it wider on the top than the bottom, the fact that the top rim became scalloped is a happy accident. I used hot glue on most of it, except for the lace around the brim which I had to hand stitch on so it didn't end up looking like a sloppy mess. I think it has a nice, architectural look. If you can see the bow closely, it has almost a wood-grain sheen to it which I found very unique and thematically appropriate.
I made this piece as a Halloween present for my friend. I hope she doesn't think it sucks.
